This website (FINDMD.ca) is run by White Cross Healthcare, a medical clinic at 647 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0X2. FINDMD.ca is our doctor house-call service. This policy explains how we handle personal information, including personal health information.

Personal health information

When you get care from us, our doctors and staff collect personal health information, such as your name, health card number, health history and the care you receive. We collect, use and share this information to provide care and as allowed or required by Manitoba's Personal Health Information Act (PHIA).

Your rights

• You can ask to see or get a copy of your health record.
• You can ask us to correct information you think is wrong.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request or your information, you can contact the Manitoba Ombudsman.

Information you give us through this website

This website is an information website. It does not have patient accounts, and it does not ask patients for health information. To book a house call, please call us.

Physician inquiries. Our page for doctors ("Doctors: Join Us") has a short form for physicians. It asks for your email address first and then, on a second page, your name, email, phone number, the areas of work that interest you, preferred contact method, availability for a meeting and a message. You may also tell us about your current practice and licence status. When you send it, the form service emails your inquiry to the White Cross Healthcare team member who handles recruitment, so that we can contact you and arrange a meeting. The web server does not keep a copy of what you send, and its logs do not record what you write. We use this information only to contact you and arrange a meeting. Only the White Cross Healthcare staff who handle physician recruitment can see your inquiry. We keep it only as long as we need it to follow up with you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by calling 204-786-8588.

Please do not include any patient information in the form.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

Like most websites, our web server keeps basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to stop abuse.
