Book a Doctor House Call
The fastest way to book is to call us. Our office books your visit for the same day.
Everyone is welcome. You don't need to be a White Cross patient or have a family doctor.
Easy to remember: 58-22-DOC.
Phone lines are open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 7 days a week.
Medical emergency? Call 911 now. Chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke, a bad fall or heavy bleeding need emergency care. Do not wait for a house call.
Before you call
- The patient's health card: Manitoba Health (with their PHIN, Personal Health Identification Number) or another province or territory. We accept health coverage from other provinces and territories; call us and we'll confirm your details.
- The full address, including apartment number and buzzer code
- A phone number where we can reach you today
After you call
- We book your visit for the same day.
- Please stay home. We cannot give a specific arrival time, because the doctor is travelling between homes.
- The doctor comes to your door.
Booking for someone else? Yes, you can
Family members and caregivers can book a house call for someone else, such as a parent, spouse, child or someone you look after. When you call, give us the patient's PHIN (Personal Health Identification Number). It is printed on their Manitoba Health card.
