What the Province of Manitoba says

The Province of Manitoba says Manitoba Health covers medically required doctor services for you and your dependants, and pays doctors directly for insured services provided in their office, clinic, hospital or other institution, or in your home.

Who is covered

According to the Province, Manitoba residents who are physically present in the province for 183 days are eligible for insured medical services. Check the details on the Province's health coverage page.

What you need: the patient's PHIN

When you book, we ask for the patient's PHIN (Personal Health Identification Number). It is printed on their Manitoba Health card. If you are calling for someone else, such as a parent or child, give us their PHIN, not yours.
